Jayson Pocius: A Dynamic Professional in Sports, Education, and Real Estate

Jayson Pocius brings a unique blend of experience across the worlds of sports, education, and real estate. Raised in Chicago, Illinois, he discovered a deep passion for sports early in life—particularly basketball—largely inspired by the legendary Chicago Bulls era of the 1990s.

He is the founder of DONTBECHI Designs, a real estate company dedicated to transforming distressed properties into high-value, sustainable developments in Las Vegas. Through a creative yet strategic approach, Jayson Pocius blends innovative design with real estate expertise, breathing new life into undervalued properties.

Jayson’s professional journey is supported by a strong academic background. He earned an MBA from Loyola University Chicago and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Roosevelt University. This education, combined with years of real-world experience, has shaped his data-driven and strategic mindset in property development.

Prior to establishing DONTBECHI Designs, Jayson worked with KB Home in Las Vegas, focusing on land acquisition and development. He also led JRP Holding Group, LLC in Chicago, where he was responsible for acquiring, managing, and selling rental properties.

Outside of his business ventures, Jayson remains deeply connected to the world of sports. He served as the Special Assistant to the Head Coach for Roosevelt University’s Men’s Basketball team, reflecting his enduring passion for college basketball. In his leisure time, he enjoys playing beach volleyball, a favourite summer activity in Las Vegas.
